Morning departure from your hotel in Bali. Drive along the south coast of Bali to the west in Gilimanuk. Photo stops from terraced rice fields, rustic villages can do on the way. Early morning after breakfast drive to the village of Licin and by four wheels drive vehicle to the slope of Mount Ijen, passing through plantations and rainforest. This is one of the few left in the island of Java with giant ferns and big trees. Take a rest at the Park Rangers post before hiking further up to the slope of the crater. About one hour and a half to two hours is needed to ascend the rim of the crater along a shady track with amazing views. Take a rest on the edge of the crater at 2883 meter altitude. The sulfuric lake reflects eerie color over the surrounding walls to give an apocalypse like impression. Men seeking sulfur descend into the crater and climb back up along the dangerous rim with loads of up to 80 kilos on their shoulder. The crater observation will take at leisure. Afterwards drive back to the hotel for lunch and in the afternoon at leisure. Dinner and overnight at Ijen Resort and Villas.

Departure from your hotel, drive to Muncar, the most crowded and animated traditional fishing port in Java. And then continue driving to Kalibaru, the region of beautiful plantations (coffee, rubber and cacao). Proceed to Jember for Lunch in a local restaurant and then drive on to Probolinggo. Dinner & overnight at Grand Bromo Hotel.

Early morning at 03.00 drive up to  mount Bromo by crossing the caldera to get to the feet of mount Bromo and then by horse or simply by walk climbing up track. The spectacular chain volcanoes (Bromo, Batok, and Semeru) are unveiling itself in a magnificent view. back to the hotel for breakfast and then departure to Denpasar. Arrive in Denpasar/Bali.
